Born and raised at the Jersey Shore, Dave has always been passionate about beach houses. After college, he spent years building a career in financial technology, specifically focusing on Quality Assurance (QA) and loan processing systems. Alongside his corporate career, Dave developed a hands-on love for real estate through "fix and flip" renovation projects.

Eventually, Dave and his fiancé, Marisa, combined those passions and began hosting their own short-term rentals, The Catherine and Penelope's Place. They quickly achieved Superhost status, maintaining a 4.98 rating across 88 reviews.

Dave quickly realized their high rating wasn't luck—it was the result of applying his corporate QA background to physical houses.
